This site is the home to Where Titans Clash, a series revolving around pitting two characters from popular media, like video games, anime, movies, books, etc., in a fight to the death. Using logistics, facts, and mathematics to determine the victor, there is also a creative side in the written portion of the fight that lets the hypothetical fight become spectacle. Taking inspiration from web series like ScrewAttack’s Death Battle and the TV series Deadliest Warrior, this series continues the sub-genre of crossover writing to appeal to fans of both Vs Debating, the community that regulates and engages in debating these “who would win?” scenarios, and fans of the series used.

Furthermore, under the branding of Where Titans Clash, I plan to start writing my magnum opus story: Lavender Chronicle. The story is urban fantasy with many elements inherited from my favorite authors like Eiichiro Oda, Shinobu Ohtaka, and from my adoration for Greek myth, especially the Homeric epics. I hope you’ll like it as much as I have over the many long years I’ve had to develop it!

As for myself, I go by the alias CyrillCipher, or more recently, Barlow. I started working on VS content on deviantArt back in 2015 after feeling inspired by ScrewAttack to create my own Death Battles. After on and off writer’s block and 25 or so matchups later, here we are now. After years of using deviantArt, I felt it was time for a change. So, now I work on WordPress, which has an infinitely vaster array of tools to use and publicity to garner. Having gotten used to using WordPress and wanting to evolve my craft further, I am wriitng my story series, Lavender Chronicle, on this site as a web novel.

My goal with Where Titans Clash is to create a site that highlights my skills as a writer, graphic designer, and researcher to act as a portfolio, while also acting as a platform for enthralling, informative, and easy-reading content for visitors. Having had almost 150 Subscribers collectively back on deviantArt, I hope I can double or further magnify that number here on WordPress.

If you’ve read all of this, then I’d like to thank you for your interest and I hope you have a good time browsing my written works. Enjoy!
